Minutes of the OBNA Officer’s Meeting  4-6-2017

Officers Present: John Bunka, President, Javier Mazetti, Treasurer, Michael Lowery, Secretary

Absent:   Jim Sceats, Vice President

Business and Discussions:

·        It was acknowledged that we are on a tight schedule to get the first public meeting underway so the Secretary is doing some task that would be done by officers or committees.

·        John Bunka suggested a theme of “meet and greet” for this and future meetings, which was adopted. 

·        Michael Lowery arranged for the Barrel Aging Room for the Meet & Greet schedule for Monday, April 24 and paid the $20 fee.

·        He arranged for two 3’ x 2’ banners to be donated by The Sign Shop.   It was determined that a 10’ x 2’ banner would not fit within City sign ordinances.   A summary of ordinances will be posted shortly.  He arranged for two yard signs in addition at a cost of $37.50 for the specific meeting.   (note: the banner and signs started public display 4-13 and will continue until the meeting)

·        The officers revised the By-Laws for acceptance at the Meet & Greet.  The revised By-Laws are posted on the blog. 

·        It was noted that CONO is attending for a 20-minute presentation.  John Bunka will host the meeting.     Lowery will arrange for the two banners and signs to be posted at the Ivywild School prior to the meeting to direct attendees. 

·        A discussion was held that three additional board members need to be recruited to fulfill the legal requirements of the OBNA becoming fully operational.
